  • Eric Yue Eric Yue

Eric is a league administrator for 101 with the primary responsibilities of scheduling, insurance, and bookkeeping. He is a graduate of UVIC's Leisure Service Administration program. Barely past the beginner stage, he never fails to skate with his head down and shoot directly into a goalie logo on breakaways. When Eric isn't playing hockey, he auditions for TV shows like Wipeout Canada. If you ever find him playing goalie and you're on the other team, congrats because your point production is about to increase dramatically!

  • Chris Yue Chris Yue

Chris is a league administrator with the primary responsibilities of facilities and league discipline. In regards to hockey, he dissects the game and puts together brilliant strategies, BUT that hasn't quite translated to tangible skill in the playing ice hockey department. Chris graduated with a Kinesiology degree from UVIC a few years ago but like many others, does nothing with it. Chris enjoys working with people and has coached and organized many teams and tournaments in a variety of sports for all ages.

  • Adam Richards Adam Richards

Adam Richards expands his role this season from referee allocator to league administrator adding in day to day operations. He has played 2 seasons but no amount of cajoling and bribes has gotten him to strap the laces on again. A real football player and fan (soccer), we believe there's still hope for him on the ice.

  • Steve Wan Steve Wan

Steve Wan will be volunteering his 5th year for Island Hockey 101. Steve will bring his organizational ability to help coordinate and promote the league. Like most of the staff and volunteer, he has dumped playing the higher tier hockey in turn for his lower tier team in order that he might appear faster. It's too bad he still appears only 'average'. Thanks for signing on again Steve.

  • Dwayne Robinson Dwayne Robinson

Dwayne will be volunteering his 5th year for Island Hockey. Dwayne is the captain of The Chiefs who have played with the league every season to date. While his team couldn't repeat the Tier 4 championship for a 2nd year, they would win the award for 'oldest dudes' if there was such an award. Dwayne demonstrates there is always something to prove!

  • Dan Henderson Dan Henderson

Dan has reffed in Hockey 101 since season 1 and played and captained a team since season 2 and is very happy to be a league rep for his 4th year. As someone who works in the recreation field, Dan sees the value in adult participation in recreational sport and thinks that Hockey 101 is a great place to play hockey. No one stacks the pads in goal quite like Dan and yes that is ambiguously complimentary. Thank goodness for his teammates he plays much better as a forward.

  • Dave Stewart

A relative newbie to ice hockey, Dave will be performing his 2nd year as league rep and 4th year playing ice hockey. A prime example of how bad you can be when you start out, beginners in our league will never fear because Dave's hockey skill soothes their anxiety.

  • Jon Borgens Jon Borgens

Jon will be joining us for a 2nd year as league rep. Jon has played in practically every tier in Island Hockey 101 since the beginning for teams like the Dark Horse, Heat, Bulldogs, Jets etc. He used to be quite a hot head, but has been transitioning to the Island Hockey 101 game - penalty minutes declining as we speak. Not only a hockey player, Jon will also soon join the proud Father's club.
