Eric Yue Eric is the league administrator and Operator and is a graduate of UVIC's Leisure Service Administration program. His 1 year of novice hockey at age 6 qualifies him as a ringer. Already looking forward to the next season, you may find Eric padding his stats on the Island Hockey 101 website. No longer having time to play on 3 teams, you will find him in Tier 4 in the 10/11 season or goaltending in Tier 6 proving ‘putting the puck towards the net’ IS a great strategy.

Chris Yue Chris is a terrible hockey player but loves the sport. No longer working on the administrative side of the league, he can focus his energy slashing faster players. Chris graduated with a Kinesiology degree from UVIC a few years ago but like many others, does nothing with it. Chris enjoys working with people and has coached and organized many teams and tournaments in a variety of sports for all ages.

Adam Richards Adam Richards returns to the staff of Island Hockey 101. Playing 2 seasons, Adam has hung up the skates for now to focus on his administrative duties with our league. Adam will be looking after all the scheduling of referees. Adam is a great guy and will be happy to help out in anyway possible to make the league a better place to play.

Steve Wan Steve Wan will be volunteering his 4th year for Island Hockey 101. Steve will bring his organizational ability to help coordinate and promote the league. Steve is now past his pre-game puking ritual and quickly improving on his post-game ritual still yet to be seen. Playing on two teams in the 10/11 season, he intends to duplicate his mediocrity in two different tiers. Despite these things, we're still pleased to have him be part of our team this season.

Dwayne Robinson Dwayne will be volunteering his 4th year for Island Hockey. Dwayne is the captain of The Chiefs who have played with the league every season to date. After FINALLY winning the Tier 4 championships in the 2009/2010 season, he is one year older, wiser, slower, and already holding on to the championship he won as a distant memory. Welcome back to the team.

Jon Borgens I have played in Island Hockey 101 for about 5 years (since the beginning) I have played in lots of different divisions, in lots of different roles. I have played in tiers 1, 3, 4 and 5. For teams like the Dark Horse, the Island Oasis Heat, Big Barn Bulldogs, Jets etc. I am usually a forward, but have also played defense. I used to be quite a hot head, but have really tried to transition to the Island Hockey 101 game, and have seen my Penalty minutes decline each season. I have really enjoyed my time in this league, and look forward to contributing to the 'infrastructure" of the league. I try to watch as many games as possible, and am available as a universal sub for most nights (with a little notice)
